Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these terms is to set out the conditions and procedures for using FastFind (the "Service"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Company and its Members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" means the remote file search and access service provided through the fastfind.kr domain.
2. "Member" means a person who has agreed to these terms and completed registration.
3. "Content" means the files and metadata that a Member searches, transfers or stores through the Service. Content resides on the Member's own PC; the Company does not retain the Content itself.

Article 3 (Provision of the Service)

• The Company provides a relay server that connects the desktop client running on the Member's PC with a browser.
• The relay server only forwards the Member's search and access requests to the PC; it does not store Content.
• The Company endeavours to provide a stable service and gives notice of maintenance or outages, in advance where possible and otherwise afterwards.

Article 3-2 (Licence to Use the Software)

• The FastFind client is free to use anywhere — at home, at a company, or in a public institution, with no limit on the number of installations. No separate usage agreement or purchase process is required.
• You are free to pass the program on to others as it is. However, you may not sell the program, distribute it with advertising or bundled installers added, or distribute it with the Company’s name or marks removed or altered.
• Copyright in the program belongs to the Company. Members receive a right to use it; ownership is not transferred.

Article 4 (Registration and Use)

• Registration is by email and password, and beta Pro access is granted immediately on sign-up.
• Members are responsible for managing their own account details (email, password, connection token and Pro key).
• You may not misappropriate another person's account details or register by improper means.

Article 5 (Benefits and the Review Event)

• During the beta period, Pro features are provided free of charge to all Members.
• If you post one legitimate review and it passes automatic or administrator approval, your account becomes "Pro Lifetime" and you may use Pro features permanently, even after the beta ends.
• If the posted review is deleted or the fastfind.kr link is removed, the account may revert to the Free plan after a seven-day grace period.
• If misconduct such as a false, duplicate or stolen review is confirmed, the entitlement may be withdrawn without prior notice.

Article 6 (Obligations of the Member)

• Members must comply with applicable law and these terms.
• You must not transmit or share illegal content through the Service, or infringe the rights of others.
• You must not place abnormal load on the relay server or attempt automated abuse.

Article 7 (Obligations of the Company and Disclaimer)

• The Company does not retain the Content itself; it merely relays communication between the Member's PC and the browser.
• The Company is not liable for connection or search failures caused by the Member's PC environment or network.
• The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disaster, war, terrorism, power failure or a carrier outage.

Article 8 (Account Termination and Data Handling)

• Members may request account termination at any time; on termination, related data such as email, password and connection token is deleted immediately.
• Certain information that must be retained by law is kept for the required period and then destroyed.

Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)

The Company may revise these terms where necessary, and will give notice on the site at least seven days before the effective date.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes concerning these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court with jurisdiction over the Company's place of business shall be the court of first instance.
